Where is the Yiwu operation and how can a buyer arrange a visit?
The published Yiwu operating and production location is Building 3#, No.7 Wuhua Rd Street 2, Yiwu 322000, Zhejiang Province, China. Contact services@noveltyintl.com to discuss a visit, a live video review or a third-party audit. The relevant production area, access, records and timing are agreed before the appointment.
A programme may combine work carried out by the Yiwu operation with materials or specialist processes sourced from other suppliers. The product specification and quotation identify the production route and the responsibilities relevant to the order.
Which customer projects are described in your portfolio?
Novelty’s company-published project history includes an Australian resin jewelry programme with Erstwilder and bead strand and assortment programmes with Jesse James Beads. The dates and scope below describe the published history; current reference availability and permission to share project records are checked before disclosure.
| Customer in published project history | Period described | Work described |
|---|---|---|
| Erstwilder | Relationship began in 2011; the historical exclusive production period described is 2011–2022. | Resin wearable art jewelry and accessories. |
| Jesse James Beads | Relationship began in 2022. | Bead strands, assortments and coordinated retail packaging. |
Walmart and Michaels are retail channels described in the Jesse James Beads project history. Their appearance in the portfolio does not establish that they are direct customers of Novelty or that they endorse Novelty.
Which company and project records can a buyer check?
Verification starts with the identity of the contracting and production entities, the production route and evidence linked to the proposed product. Company records, product specifications, inspection examples and available test reports serve different purposes and should be reviewed for their dates and scope.
Ask for the records relevant to your product and market. Customer references and project documents are shared only when consent and confidentiality allow. Company registration confirms entity details; it does not establish a product’s compliance, factory ownership or customer relationship.

What is the minimum order quantity?
Standard bead orders start at 200 strands, bags or cards per colour, according to the quoted supply format. A unit means the complete strand, bag or card specified in the quotation. The number of beads in each strand or pack is stated separately.
Standard jewelry orders start at 100 finished pieces per SKU, and standard craft kit orders start at 100 complete kits per SKU. Different colours, sizes or designs are counted as separate SKUs. Each SKU must meet its own minimum.
| Programme | Standard minimum | How quantity is counted |

| Custom or private-label jewelry | 100 finished pieces per SKU | Each colour, size or design is counted separately. |

See MOQ, sampling charges and production conditions for the information needed before a quotation.
How long do samples and production take?
Samples using available references are commonly ready in 3 to 7 business days after the brief, required specifications and materials are confirmed. New colour, finish or packaging work commonly takes 7 to 15 business days. New tooling, unusual materials and revisions are scheduled in the quotation.
Repeat items are commonly produced in 20 to 45 business days after sample and material approval. New development, testing, packaging and shipment requirements are reviewed before the production schedule is confirmed. Production time and freight transit time are quoted separately.
| Stage | Indicative period | Planning condition |
|---|---|---|
| Sample using available references | 3–7 business days | Brief, specifications and materials confirmed. |
| Sample with new colour, finish or packaging | 7–15 business days | Required inputs confirmed; specific scope quoted. |
| New tooling, unusual materials or sample revisions | Quoted separately | Development route and open decisions reviewed. |
| Repeat bulk production | 20–45 business days | Sample and material approval; order conditions confirmed. |
The quotation confirms the sample charge, tooling or development charges, included revision work and any conditions for crediting sample charges to a bulk order. A sample charge is not automatically refundable or creditable.
Which compliance tests can Novelty support?
Testing is planned for the product, intended user and destination. The review may include requirements such as CPSIA, ASTM F963, EN 71, REACH, Proposition 65 or nickel release where applicable. Novelty can coordinate the preparation and submission of identified samples to an appropriately scoped laboratory. Laboratories such as Intertek, SGS or a buyer-nominated provider may be considered subject to the required accreditation, test scope and booking arrangements. A laboratory name on a website is not evidence that a particular product has been tested.
| Market and product context | Items to review before testing |
|---|---|
| United States, including California where relevant | Product classification, intended age, materials, coatings and applicable product or chemical requirements. |
| European Union | Product classification, materials, restricted substances, nickel release and toy requirements where applicable. |
| United Kingdom | Applicable UK market requirements reviewed separately for the proposed product and destination. |
| Australia, Canada and other destinations | Product-specific requirements agreed with the buyer and an appropriately scoped laboratory. |
Reports are reviewed for the identified SKU, materials, sample, date and test scope. A material or construction change may require reassessment. See quality control and product-specific testing.
Are the licensed-character products authorised?
For licensed merchandise, the customer licensee supplies the relevant written manufacturing authorization, approved style guide and approval requirements. Artwork, samples, packaging and any test plan are reviewed against the programme requirements before production release.
Novelty’s role in these programmes is contract manufacturing and production coordination. Manufacturing for a licensee does not give Novelty ownership of the character rights or an independent merchandise licence. Any factory authorization is checked for the relevant facility, customer, category and validity period.
What trade terms and markets does Novelty work with?
Novelty works with buyers in markets including the United States, United Kingdom, European Union, Australia and Canada. EXW, FOB or DDP can be discussed where the route and destination allow. The quotation names the delivery term, place and included services.
Shipping documents and responsibilities are confirmed for the order and delivery route. Classification, duties, taxes, clearance arrangements and any certificate of origin requirements are reviewed before a delivered-cost quotation is agreed. Payment details are issued by the Hong Kong contracting entity and should match the order documents.

How do I verify Novelty before placing an order?
Request a verification plan for the proposed programme. We confirm which records are available, which can be shared under confidentiality and which need new product-specific work before an order proceeds.

- Production review: agree a site visit, a live video review or a third-party audit of the operations relevant to the product.
- Product evidence: review available specifications, samples, inspection examples and reports for their scope and dates.
- Project references: request a reference or case material that can be disclosed with the relevant customer’s consent.
