CHARMS & PENDANTS
Loose components or a coordinated programme.
Enamel, resin, acrylic and metal charms can be reviewed as loose components or approved cards and assortments. Custom development begins with artwork or a reference and confirms dimensions, attachment, material, finish, tooling and sample approval.
Precious-metal, stainless-steel, plated or filled-metal options are confirmed for the selected component and intended market. The development plan includes time for artwork, any tooling, materials and packaging approvals.
FINDINGS & COMPONENTS
Jewelry findings and charms for EU product programmes
Findings can include jump rings, ear wires and posts, clasps, pins, bails, chains, spacers and connectors. Before quotation, identify the base material, dimensions, construction, finish, intended use and destination requirements.
Material declarations and any required nickel-release or other tests are reviewed for the exact component and finish. Findings may be supplied separately or coordinated with beads and jewelry against an approved component list. Any report is checked for the sample and test scope it identifies.
Information for a material and testing review
| Field | Buyer and supplier review |
|---|---|
| Base material and finish | Agreed material description, coating or plating and available declarations. |
| Dimensions and construction | Component dimensions, hole or attachment size and intended use. |
| Destination and user | Markets, age group where relevant, and the required test scope. |
| Evidence | Applicable report, identified sample, test date and limitations; new testing where needed. |
Request a component-specific documentation review
- Identify the part: clasp, jump ring, connector, chain, charm, ear wire or post, together with its base material, dimensions and finish.
- State the EU destination, intended user and whether and how the part contacts the skin. Include the piercing or attachment construction where relevant.
- Ask what material declarations or nickel-release reports are available for that exact component, material and finish. Match any document to its issuer, identified sample, date and test scope.
- If an applicable report is not available or the specification changes, agree the laboratory scope, sample quantities, charges and schedule before approving the order.
A general “nickel-free”, “REACH compliant” or laboratory-name statement is not evidence that the proposed component has been tested. Product-specific checks are agreed with the buyer and an appropriately scoped laboratory. See quality and testing coordination.
Novelty can provide corresponding material declarations and nickel-release reports according to agreed customer requirements. The documents must identify the actual component, material and finish within their sample and test scope. Confirm whether an existing applicable document or new testing is required, together with any charges, sample quantities and timing, before approval.
ASSORTMENTS, STRANDS & KITTING
Quote the format buyers actually need.
Wholesale and bulk supply
For standard bead programmes, the quoted unit is a complete strand, bag or card. State the bead count, dimensions and colour in each unit. Other bulk or display formats and the minimum for charms or findings are reviewed separately.
Retail-ready assortments
Themed strand sets, colour-coordinated bags or cards, bead-and-charm packs and suitable display formats can include approved barcode labels, inserts and carton information. The quotation states the complete pack contents and packing responsibility.
The standard bead minimum applies per colour in the quoted unit. A mixed assortment requires an agreed component list, colour quantities and complete pack format. Mixing colours does not automatically reduce the minimum or change the quoted quantity basis.
CUSTOM & PRIVATE LABEL
From a colour reference to a complete assortment.
Send a physical colour reference or a specified colour standard with the material, dimensions, hole size, finish and intended use. We review whether an available reference can be used or new colour, shape or tooling development is needed. Colour approval, acceptable variation and any batch-control requirements are agreed for the selected material.
From colour reference to an approved assortment
- Define the material, colour reference, bead and hole dimensions, supply unit and intended application.
- Review available references, development work, tooling, MOQ, sampling charges and timing.
- Approve the selected sample, colour range, component list and pack contents.
- Agree the production specification, inspection points, label artwork and shipment plan.
